A New Era of Sheet Metal Production

A New Era of Sheet Metal Production

But before we take on the future, let's have a look at the past...

The date is December 1st 1998, Jenny Shipley is the New Zealand Prime Minister, Album of the year is Bic Runga – Drive, New Zealand won 34 medals at the Commonwealth games, the Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky scandal came to light, Auckland's CBD had a two-week power outage, and Bruce and Delwyn Taylor made a life-changing decision to take over ownership of Ashworth Sheetmetals Limited from former All Black Barry Ashworth.

They made the decision to add Taylor to the well-known company name and, thus, Ashworth & Taylor Sheetmetals Limited was born.

Fast forward 21 years

Ashworth & Taylor Sheetmetals has reached adulthood and we're celebrating with a fresh new brand and website.

Welcome to our new and improved portal for communication. Here we endeavor to keep you informed and showcase our beautifully crafted sheet metal products.

In the wise words of the Greek philosopher Aristotle, “Quality is not an act; it is a habit”. We are driven by quality in all that we do, be it investing in change and technology to keep our equipment up to date or employing some of the sheet metal industry's best tradesmen and engineers.

No job is too big

Our sheet metal facility in Otahuhu, Auckland can turn over jobs quickly and accurately in mixed-quantity runs.

Computer numerical control (CNC) automation gives us the ability to take on a wide range of work in any direction.

The plant is set up to work with a variety of industries, including ‘clean industries’ such as food, health, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, dairy, fisheries and meat producers that require high-grade stainless-steel surfaces.
